Guardrail is being installed on a recently rebuilt section of Kilcoy-Beerwah Road at Peachester Range this week.
Member for Glass House Andrew Powell said the works required the temporary closure of a single lane to ensure workers’ safety.
“Works commenced Tuesday 10 July and will last for about five days between 7am and 5pm, weather permitting,” Mr Powell said.
“Stop-go traffic controllers will be on site during the lane closure and short delays can be expected.”
Mr Powell thanked road users for their ongoing patience.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate the cooperation of road users once again on this section of road,” he said.
