All welcome to the ‘Lions Club of Maleny Blackall Range 7th Annual Welcome Dinner’

The Lions Club of Maleny Blackall Range invites all newcomers to the Community to the 7th Annual Welcome Dinner at the Maleny Showground Pavilion, Maleny Stanley River Road, Maleny on Wednesday 19th September 2012.

The purpose of this Welcome dinner is to provide an opportunity for new comers to our area to meet like minded people, to meet their neighbours, and to make new friends. It is also an opportunity to learn about the range of services, clubs, businesses and community activities available on the Blackall Range. Free handouts and information about the area will be issued to all new comers attending the dinner.

Our local sponsors will be in attendance. This will give sponsors the opportunity to mix directly with new people to the area and for newcomers to meet the sponsors of our dinner and to find out the services they provide in the local community.

It will be a very entertaining evening. David Crewe, a relatively newcomer to our community will be the guest speaker for the evening. He is an excellent and humorous speaker. He has become very involved in our community and has written an award winning song about our area and this song will be played on the night. There will also be an auction of quality prizes, lucky door prizes, raffles and musical entertainment through out the evening.

Tranquil Park will provide a quality meal for the Cost of $35.00 per head. The dinner commences at 6pm for a 7pm sit down.

If you are interested in attending this welcome dinner get in early and purchase your tickets at Network Video, Maleny or Soothe Hairdressing, Montville as tickets are limited.
